The Snugpak SJ9 Softie Jacket is a high performance insulating layer with a technical fit that can be worn as a mid layer or stand-alone jacket, allowing adaptability to changing weather or activity levels.
Providing a comfort rating of −10°C, the water-repellent and windproof SJ9 is suitable for field operations, winter camping and general cold weather use.

- Softie Premier Insulation: Delivers substantial thermal performance, retaining heat even when exposed to moisture
- Adjustable Drawcord Hood: Cinch to secure thermal protection around the head, neck, and face
- High Collar: Shields the lower face and neck area from wind and cold ingress
- Velcro Patches on Sleeves: Accepts unit insignia, rank slides, or reflective identifiers
- Pockets: Includes 2 hidden zipped side pockets and 1 internal pockets for secure, insulated storage
- Waterproof YKK Zip: Minimises water penetration at the front closure point
- Adjustable Neck and Hem: Adjust to trap warm air inside the jacket and customise the fit
- Elasticated Cuffs with Thumb Loops: Prevents sleeves from riding up and seals the wrist area against cold air flow
